Inventory Overview

The inventory feature lets your chatbot answer questions about your products or vehicles. If you have a product catalog, vehicle inventory, or similar list of items, you can upload it so your chatbot can help visitors find what they're looking for.

Who Should Use Inventory

This feature is designed for:

  • Auto dealerships - Vehicle inventory
  • Retailers - Product catalogs
  • Rental companies - Available equipment or vehicles
  • Real estate - Property listings
  • Any business with searchable items

If you don't have products or items to list, you can skip this section.

What Inventory Does

When you upload inventory data, your chatbot can:

  • Answer product questions - "Do you have any red sedans?"
  • Search by criteria - "Show me SUVs under $30,000"
  • Provide details - "Tell me about the 2024 Honda Accord"
  • Link to listings - Direct visitors to product pages

Getting Started

Option 1: File Upload

Supported Data Types

Vehicle Inventory

Common fields for auto dealerships:

  • Make, Model, Year
  • Price, Mileage
  • Color, Body type
  • VIN, Stock number
  • Features and options
  • Photos (URLs)

Product Inventory

Common fields for retail:

  • Product name, SKU
  • Price, Category
  • Description
  • Availability
  • Images

Custom Data

You can include any fields relevant to your business. The chatbot will use whatever information you provide to answer questions.

Best Practices

Keep Data Current

Outdated inventory frustrates visitors:

  • Update regularly (at least weekly)
  • Remove sold/unavailable items promptly
  • Correct errors quickly
